hazelmcgennis: My ‘finished piece’ from last Friday’s assessments. I don’t know how I feel about it. It’s ended up being something static and pointless really, in the studio … But weh who cares i’m too tired to go rambling about my many conflicting opinions on art and bleh bleh and ooh i’ve built something and it looks kind of cool. Note the shed/shack influence. really all i want to do is build cabins for myself to live in all over the place.. Also i like to imagine some weird little gardener character would live in this who minds his plants all day and bats intruders away with the shovel. (I made the tools myself in the workshop. The paint on the trowel got damaged when another student used it in her performance. oh dear)
